That's exactly when structural pruning pays off. Training a young live oak to one dominant leader and good branch spacing now prevents the weak, co-dominant unions that split in storms twenty years on. It's cheaper and better than trying to fix a mature tree later.
Does Del Webb or my village HOA control tree work?
Yes — Tradition's communities, and the age-restricted villages especially, govern removals and larger pruning. We handle the approval request with the arborist note and insurance so it's not on you.
Can you match the community's tree standard?
We prune to ANSI standards and to whatever specification your association uses for common-area consistency, and we're glad to coordinate with the community's landscaper.
My new oak is leaning after a storm — can it be saved?
A young tree that's leaned but not snapped can often be straightened and staked if we catch it early. We'll tell you whether it's worth it or whether it's better to replace.
