Emergency tree work is a different job from a scheduled removal, and it's most of what we do after a Treasure Coast storm. A tree on the roof has to be stabilized before it's cut so it doesn't shift and open the structure further. A limb hung up in the canopy — a "widow-maker" — has to be brought down under control. How fast can you get here in an emergency?
For an active hazard — a tree on the house, a limb over a door, a blocked-in driveway — we prioritize same-day, and we'll give you an honest window when you call. In the 24–48 hours after a hurricane, everyone on the Treasure Coast is calling at once; we work the true safety hazards first and stage the rest.
Do you work with my insurance company?
We document the damage the way adjusters want — photos before we cut, species and cause noted, an itemized invoice after — and we're glad to talk to your adjuster. We don't file the claim for you or promise to 'waive your deductible'; that's not something an honest contractor does in Florida.
There's a tree on a power line — can you take it?
If the tree is on FPL's service line or a primary line, that's a utility call first for safety; we'll tell you exactly who to phone and we coordinate once the line is safe. If it's on the house and clear of live wires, we can get to work.
Is emergency work more expensive?
There's usually an after-hours call-out added for a 2 AM job, but the tree work itself is priced the same way — by size, access and risk. You still get a number before we start whenever the situation lets us.
Can you just make it safe tonight and finish tomorrow?
Often that's the smart move: we stabilize the tree, clear the immediate hazard and tarp what's open tonight, then come back in daylight to finish the removal and cleanup properly.
